Welcome

First and foremost, I’m a life-long student of learning who continually seeks out and studies ways to improve both my personal and professional growth.

In doing so, I wear many hats. I am a marketer. s consultant, a health and wellness coach, and a mentor to my team. I’m also a Left-Handed Bowler with a passion for writing. I love to write while enjoying a good cup of freshly brewed coffee (another passion of mine).

We all have our own stories and I help others write and tell theirs by encouraging success in every aspect of their lives. Although my primary focus initially was online marketing, I am passionate about the benefits of health and wellness and an eco-friendly environment. Also I believe that it is important to maintain a positive mindset to be able to balance our daily lives with our career and life choices.

Although my attitude wasn’t always a positive one, now that it is I now start each day thinking about this quote:

“You’ve got to believe in the community. You’ve got to believe in the possibilities. You’ve got to believe that tomorrow can be better than today. Here’s the big one. Believe in yourself. There isn’t a skill you can’t learn; there isn’t a discipline you can’t try; there isn’t a class you can’t take; there isn’t a book you couldn’t read” ~ Jim Rohn

Originally I was a surfer (on the internet only) and started following the waves of internet marketing back in 2009. I said follow because that is what I did at first. I was only a follower. I didn’t understand marketing online or have any experience with it. Honestly, I didn’t have any real clue about what I needed to do and how to do it and I wasted more money than I made going from from one program to another following after the newest “shiny pebble”.  Thinking that it was only about my finding the one program that would give me success caused frustration and disillusionment. The results were predictable – I just gave up.

Fast forward to 2012 …

I started surfing (..online) again.  That’s when I realized why it was necessary to develop the skills needed to succeed and I have found it very rewarding to share what I’ve learned with others. If online marketing interests you, check the page that links to my blog, it’s Noteworthy.

All of us have a purpose in life and whatever our purpose, it is important to pursue it with full enthusiasm and passion.  If you don’t know what you want to do, then learn everything you can from those who’ve walked the same path.  But never forget to be tuned in to yourself i.e. your attitude, life experiences, behavior, likes and dislikes etc. Determine for yourself what is working for you and what is not and be the captain of your ship.

To me it’s also about believing in the possibilities.

Want to be a writer? Great, then what you have to do is to start writing.

Want to be an artist? Then just start painting!

Want to be a pilot? Start taking pilot courses.

The point is to start doing the thing you want to do, with the right attitude and you can become who you want to be. As soon as you write, you’re a writer.  Granted, you may not be famous for it. You might not even be professional. You might not even be any good; but you are a writer!  When someone asks you what you do, you can legitimately say ‘I’m a writer’. It all begins with a positive mindset and the way in which you approach life.  I share my thoughts about mindset on the page titled, Matters of the Mind

It’s also about not waiting for tomorrow, but realizing what it is that inspires you today. For me one of the things that inspires me is promoting health and wellness for all of us and the difference we can make by creating a cleaner, safer environment. We can all make a difference by making better, safer, smarter choices. I share ideas and suggestions while using my passion for writing on the page titled, Making Better Choices.

Hopefully what you’re getting from this is that you don’t have to define yourself by just one idea. Likewise, you don’t have to have just one passion or even one career. It’s about not waiting. It’s about recognizing what it is that inspires you and it’s about believing in the possibilities.

Welcome to my site.
