I believe in the possibilities. As a life-long student continually seeking out and studying ways to improve both my personal and professional growth, I wear many hats: volunteer, marketing partner, educator of health and wellness products, chaser of that perfect game (as a Left-Handed Bowler); and pursuing my passion for writing while enjoying a good cup of freshly brewed coffee (another passion of mine).
We all have our own stories and I help others write and tell their stories by encouraging success in every aspect of their lives. Although my primary focus is in marketing, I enjoy educating and sharing information about the benefits of healthy living and our responsibilities for an eco-friendly environment. All of my interests are are supported by a positive mindset which I use to balance family, business and everyday choices.
I begin my day with this quote:
“You’ve got to believe in the community. You’ve got to believe in the possibilities. You’ve got to believe that tomorrow can be better than today. Here’s the big one. Believe in yourself. There isn’t a skill you can’t learn; there isn’t a discipline you can’t try; there isn’t a class you can’t take; there isn’t a book you couldn’t read” ~ Jim Rohn
We all have a purpose in life and whatever it is, we should pursue it with full enthusiasm and passion. If you don’t know what you want to do, then learn everything you can from those who’ve walked the same path. Stay true to yourself with the right approach by determining what is working for you and what is not and be “the captain of your ship”.
Believing in ourselves resonates with me and this is how I see an approach to possibilities:
- Do you want to be a writer? Great, then you have to start writing.
- Do you want to be an artist? Then just start painting!
- Do you want to be a dancer? Start taking dance lessons.
The point is start doing the thing you want to do, with the right attitude and you can become who you want to be. As soon as you write, you’re a writer. Granted, in the beginning you may not be famous for it. You might not even be professional. You might not even be any good; but you are a writer! When someone asks you what you do, you can legitimately say ‘I’m a writer’. It all begins with a positive mindset. I share my thoughts about mindset on the page titled, Matters of the Mind
It’s also about not waiting for tomorrow, but realizing what it is that inspires you today. What inspires me is promoting health and wellness for all of us and the difference we can make by creating a cleaner, safer environment. I share those ideas and information while using my passion for writing on my page titled, Healthy Living
Hopefully what you’re getting from this is that you don’t have to define yourself by just one idea. Likewise, you don’t have to have just one passion or even one career. It’s about not waiting. It’s about recognizing what it is that inspires you and it’s about Believing in the Possibilities.
